Dining with Dignity

Meal times are not just about ensuring our residents get the right nutrition and diet - they are important markers that punctuate the day, giving structure and they are also a social trigger. Eating and drinking is an event among friends and family, which has the potential to lighten moods and bring back fond memories of meals together celebrating birthdays or Christmas.

At Palm Court, we try to enrich the dining experience for each resident and make it more of a social event where carers are communicating throughout the meal, chatting as they assist residents. We also encourage other residents to sit with each other and enjoy a meal together.
All food produced by Apetito meets the
Care Quality Commission (CQC) and

All food produced by Apetito’s chef-prepared meals are frozen within 1 hour  to lock in the nutrition and quality, so that their goodness isn’t lost in transit or storage, unlike fresh or pre-prepared chilled food.
