Outbreak Welcome

Outbreak of COVID-19

We are presently experiencing an outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) within the care home. As per UK Government guidance, Palm Court Nursing Home is not open to visitors currently, unless absolutely necessary. Pregnant women and people with underlying medical conditions should not visit. Children will also not be able to visit at this time. If you would like further information regarding this issue, please contact the home by telephone.

Visiting will return to normal as soon as safe and possible to do so. Please check our COVID-19 Hub page for updates.

This also means any viewings by prospective clients will be postponed and will be offered a virtual tour of the home instead.

Please book via our Contact Us page.

Management and Staff thank you for your continued co-operation and support. Asymptomatic lateral flow (LFD) testing for staff (twice weekly), visitors and visiting professionals providing personal care to residents has been paused from 31.08.22 in line with the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC). All visitors to Palm Court must wash or sanitise their hands on arrival with sanitiser provided by the home, and to wear a face mask throughout their visit. It remains important for staff, service users and visitors to follow ongoing guidance on infection, prevention, and control. We thank you for your continued support and co-operation.

We also look forward to meeting new families and residents to join our Well-Being Community, so do get in touch - we would love to hear from you!
